This hands-on series is designed for your young, budding chef to learn kitchen safety, food basics and hands-on cooking fundamentals.

We will teach your teen about measuring & prepping ingredients and basic cooking techniques like knife skills, stirring, chopping, grating and whisking. Each day will bring an exciting menu with new cooking challenges, helpful hints regarding food chemistry and great recipes. Using the freshest flavors of the season, we'll show how herbs and spices easily enhance food along with how to make the best food choices to maintain a well-balanced and delicious eating lifestyle. If your kids have a passion for cooking and enjoy good food, this is the series for them.

Kitchen Science (Mon): Think cooking an egg is easy? How about boiling water for perfect pasta or blanched vegetables? Learn the science of basic cooking techniques from boiling to broiling, frying to sautéing. Paper Fish * Quiche Cups * Smashed Potato * Primo Pasta * and more.

Morning Madness (Tues): Learn to start your day off by cooking the most important meal of the day. B.E.T. Bake * Power Pancakes * Tropical Breakfast Sundaes * Chocolate Waffles * Gingered Oranges * Mango Lassi * Sunshine Smoothie * Blueberry Bites and more.

Lunchin' Fun (Wed): Throw out that boring boxed lunch! These are midday meals with a kick! Citrus Seafood Skewers * King-size Panini * Chicken Noodle Salad * Beef n' Veg Bowl * Kitchen Soup * Pizzazz Pizza * BBQ Turkey Burgers with Sweet Potato Fries * and more.

Super Sides & Snazzy Snackables (Thurs): Nothing to eat in your fridge? You'll be a huge fan of our great snacking ideas - quick, easy and delicious. Crazy Couscous * Buffalo Bites * Fiery Dip N' Chips * Squash Squares * Fried Tomatoes * Mighty Mac * Palek Paneer and more.

Five Star Dinners (Fri): Wow the family with this full course dinner from start to finish. Fruits & Nuts Salad * New England Chowder * Sirloin with Horseradish Sauce * Bowties with Grilled Vegetables * Lemon Berry Trifle and more.

Duration: Each class is 3 hours. Series runs 5 consecutive days.
