SCORE! Educational Centers, Inc., a leading provider of after-school learning programs and a subsidiary of global educational services provider Kaplan, Inc., is offering free academic assessments in reading, math and language arts to Winchester area students. The SCORE! Academic Assessment is aligned to state standards and can help educators and parents identify areas for improvement in the selected subject areas.

The free assessments will be given on Friday, November 9th from 6:15 pm-7:15 pm and Saturday, November 10th from 3-5 pm. The assessments will be given at SCORE!, located at 533 Main Street in Winchester and are open to children in second through tenth grade in Winchester and surrounding communities.

Results of the assessments will be available to parents within 48 hours of administration.

'The SCORE! Academic Assessment is designed to help parents get a fast and accurate picture of their children's skill levels, relative to state and national standards,' said Beth Hollenberg, Executive Vice President for SCORE!.
