Global Is Local – Climate Change in New England and Around the World

Join Marla Rhodes, presenter for the Climate Change Project, for an informative presentation on the effects of potential changes is climate on the New England Region.

Will your grandchildren be able to experience the classic New England that makes this region so special--colorful autumns and snowy winters, local maple syrup in the spring and fresh-caught lobster in summer? Many are not so sure. Join Climate Project presenter Marla Rhodes for a slide show about global climate change. Learn the scientific evidence and concerns about a warming planet. Information from the North East Climate Impacts Assessment will also be reviewed, as well as ways to examine your “carbon footprint” and reduce your greenhouse gas emissions (and save money!)

Marla Rhodes is a presenter for The Climate Project, a non-profit organization focused on education about the science of climate change.
