Learn on your computer and on your schedule.

I will help you explore and gain the most benefit from your own computer, software and peripherals such as cameras and printers. I'll help you get what you need out of your system and have fun with it. We will coordinate a timeframe that works for you.

Learn what you want and need to know

The curriculum will be determined with you, based on your needs, interests, and level of experience. Beginners, you can learn the basics of using your computer (PC or MAC), the internet, and your various software.

I have taught people of all ages. Lessons are appropriate for any .

I am a professional graphic designer with 20 years of computer experience. I also specialize in photography. My expertise includes Adobe Photoshop and PowerPoint. I have a BFA and have studied graphic design in addition.
I am very patient and easy going and enjoy teaching and sharing my knowledge.

I have taught computer skills at Brookline Adult Education and The Boston Learning Society. I currently teach Digital Media at Randolph Middle School for S.T.A.R.'s after school enrichment program.

Choose between 1 1/2 hour or 3 hour lessons.

The total number of lessons is flexible and depends upon your needs.

Some examples of things I can teach you:

*Learning how to use your software and 'surf' the internet

*Setting up your email address book and getting started with keeping in touch with your contacts, including sending them photos or video clips

*Setting up a calendar to keep track of appointments, and events such as birthdays. And send yourself reminders of these occasions.

*Shop online stores and sell at sites like ebay

*Setting up automatic bill payment to handle your finances

*Getting your photos off your camera and creating photo albums to share.

*Manipulating your photos by cropping, resolving problems like red eye or darkness, adding or removing elements

*Create photo collages, personal greeting cards or digital scrapbooks

*Creating slide shows with captions, music, and narration.

*Researching to find recipes, collecting them and building your own cookbook

*Draw or paint
