We will examine them from mere inches away, then release them to continue their great yearly journey. You will also have the opportunity of walking a half-mile or so with Manomet staff to see the habitats and (maybe) see us extract new migrant birds from the very fine nylon nets used to capture them.
It may change your preconceptions about some birds: chickadees are fierce, but many warblers and Blue Jays are quite docile.
