We strongly believe that the quality of any children’s programming highly depends on the strength and insite of the teacher and the warm and inviting class environment that he/she builds. Our training philosophy focuses on helping each teacher find his/her own creative way to connect with children.

Our experiential and movement based educational approach allows us to deliver curriculum that speaks to many different learning styles. We encourage teachers to explore connecting and communicating with children through many different mediums: i.e. conversation, storytelling, movement, dance, singing, reading, and drawing.

Each adult who attends our training has a very unique perspective to share with young students and our mission is help teachers explore and refine their unique ability to engage and connect with young students.

3 Day Teacher Training Workshop:

$600, which includes:

• A MFY workshop certificate for

teaching yoga to 2-6 year olds.

Prerequisite:

This workshop is geared toward parents, grandparents, teacher, yoga practitioner or any adult who is interested in learning about bringing the benefits of yoga to children. We require an open mind, a creative spirit and at least one year experience practicing yoga.

Travel & Meals:

Participants are responsible for their own transportation, meals and lodging. Travel directions and hotel recommendations are available on our website.

Schedule:

See training schedule for times. It is mandatory that you attend and participate in the entire schedule to maximize your learning, gain the most knowledge & receive your certificate of completion.

$100 Deposit ($50 non-refundable application fee & $50 deposit)

Please note that incomplete application packets will not be accepted or reviewed.

Class size is limited and registration is on a first-come first-serve basis. Once accepted to the training the remianing tuition payment ($550) is due 30 days before the scheduled event.

Deposit Payment ($100)

Application and Deposit payment must be submitted online.

Tuition Payment Balance ($550)

You will receive an email notification regarding your acceptance to our training. This email will contain a link to submit your tuition payment balance. Tuition must be paid in full no later than 30 days before the scheduled MFY event.

*If you must submit your final payment via check, please note that there will be an additional $25 processing fee. All checks should be written out to My First Yoga and mailed to:
