In Control Advanced Driver Training provides the skid school classes that have been featured by the Boston Globe and all the Boston TV News Stations. The #1 killer of teens is automobile crashes. 43% of first year drivers crash. 37% of second year drivers crash. In Control's course has been found to reduce accidents in new drivers by 70%.

This 4.5 hour program gives new drivers the opportunity to experience a panic stop and an emergency lane change situation. Students are trained in car control, skid avoidance and many other emergency situations that cannot be covered in traditional drivers ed.

TIPS↑ top

  • This class is recommended for people of all ages. Many insurance companies offer discounts of up to 10% to their insureds who complete the course. For new drivers taking the course, this class should be taken by permitted or licensed drivers who have completed the drivers education portion of their training. Taking the class just prior to getting a license helps avoid teens picking up bad habits on their own.
