Early Steps (with parent or adult partner)
Tuition: $300/16 weeks
A low-key, interactive introduction to making music with your children. Using the rich folk tradition of songs, dances, tickles and bounces,children sing, chant, dance, use rhythm instruments and a variety of everyday materials for a rich, improvisatory and playful experience.
Young Arts (2-3 years old) with parent/adult partner
Tuition: $350/16 weeks
Music and Movement
A fun and creative class where children participate in singing, moving, using rhythm instruments and creative musical games.
Visual Art
Experiment with mixed media, paint, paste and collage and be part of many adventures. Juice and snack provided.
On Your Own
Tuition: $300/16 weeks
Children continue their experience with fundamentals of music, through rhythm, movement, songs and musical games. This class is recommended for children as preparation for Ready to Play I.
Ready to Play I
Tuition: $300/16 weeks
Through songs, movement and the use of rhythm instruments, children will play rhythmic instruments, learn melodic and music literacy notions. Children will also be introduced to making music using rhythm instruments, xylophone, recorder and voice. This class promotes the development of motor and intellectual skills related to this age.
Step Around the World
Tuition: $300/16 weeks
An exploration of multiculturalism through improvisation, melodic and rhythmic instruments, and song. Curriculum includes world music,American jazz and blues, and dramatization of multicultural books and stories.
