Explore the world beneath your feet and understand where all the leaves go in fall. We will dig holes to collect soil and discover many tiny animals at work. Learn to identify healthy soils, helpful insects, and important plant matter for composting and decomposition. Make a mini soil-column to take home, and watch it change over winter.

Be ready to get down and dirty at Garden in the Woods.
