Learn the techniques and science behind what makes a cake moist, tender, and delicious. We will make a pound cake to learn the absolute basics of a beaten butter based cake. Then we will make a chocolate cake to expand on that technique.

Finally, we will make sponge cake to learn the theory and skills of cakes with whipped eggs as the base. The goal is to give you the tools and knowledge to be able to successfully make other cake recipes at home, and maybe even create your own recipes.
