At Music Together we believe that music is as much a
basic life skill as walking and talking. All children
can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and
participate with pleasure and confidence in the music
of our cultures.
Our classes are mixed age: Birth to 4 years old. Child
development researchers recommend mixed-age groupings
because they foster natural, family-style learning.
It's great because the whole family can come together!
We introduce children to the joys of making music
instead of passively receiving it from CDs, radio, or
television. Young children instinctively respond to
and imitate their loved ones. The active participation
of parents and caregivers – regardless of their
musical ability – is thus an essential part of the
rich musical environment we create.
And it’s fun! Children learn best through play, so we
make sure to foster an enjoyable, easy atmosphere
where adults can relax as they play musically with
their children. Come Sing, Dance, Laugh & Learn with us!

From Roundabout on West Roxbury Parkway you will see several large Catholic church buildings on both sides of the street, and opposite on Centre Street you will see a Boston Police Station. Keeping the Police station on your right continue on WR Parkway through 2 sets of lights. As you go through second set of lights, turn right onto Anawan Avenue. At the top of the hill you will see the Stratford St United Church to your right. You can park on either Anawan Ave or Stratford St.
There will be a Music Together poster on the Stratford Street side door and we are downstairs (just follow the arrows or the sound of the music!).
