Ahoy mates! It’s time to “sea” and explore Boston with the Boston Center for Adult Education’s (BCAE) summer kayaking class. Set sail and enjoy Boston, and all of its beauty, from the water.

In “Introduction to Kayaking” students will focus on skills development, but you'll also spend time touring the area. You'll learn efficient paddling technique, the necessary strokes to maneuver your kayak, and advanced techniques such as bracing to prevent a capsize.

The one session course “Introduction to Kayaking” will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010 from 8:30am-11:30am. Tuition is $154.00. Instructor: Paddle Boston.

Looking to try something a little more hands-on? Try the “Learn to Sail” course which will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from July 6, 2010 through July 15, 2010 from 5:00pm-8:00pm.

Hurry and sign up before this ship has sailed! Registration is necessary. Please visit www.bcae.org or call the Boston Center for Adult Education at 617-267-4430 to sign up.
