Natural Childbirth Series.

This is a four-week class designed to encourage confidence in your abilities to labor and to support someone in labor. You’ll meet other expectant couples and learn about local resources. That’s a great way to step into parenthood!

In this series, we will review:

• How your body works during labor and how you can work with it

• Effective comfort techniques for at home, at hospital/birth center

• Reliable resources for information, how to discuss and advocate for your care

• Immediate postpartum: what happens with the baby, with the mother and the most important things to prepare for the first two weeks.

About our instructor:

Robin Snyder-Drummond has been teaching childbirth series in various settings for 17 years. She is also an active birth doula with ten years of experience in six Boston area hospitals and one birth center. An excellent complement to these skills, Robin is also an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who makes home visits.
