Paintings and drawings are hazily representational, brimming with color and movement.
Boldly abstract colors hint at sky, water, architecture, horizon and earth.
This body of new work features large works on canvas and smaller works on panel board.
Each is meticulously layered from a penciled grid base beneath both diaphanous and opaque swaths of thinned oil paint.
The subsequent work becomes a visual history of the activity of painting.
