Elephant, also known as Gerald, and Piggie, will be visiting the Children’s Museum of New Hampshire to greet young fans and help promote the love of reading!

These two best friends, created by author and illustrator Mo Willems have been delighting early readers since 2007 and the museum is excited to welcome them to our popular Books Alive program.

Books Alive seeks to make reading a regular family experience.

Museum educators will be reading these silly and heartfelt books, that often emphasize the importance of friendship, throughout the day.

Friendly costumed Elephant and Piggie will pop in and out to greet children, exchange a hug or high-five and pose for photos.

There will also be a variety of Elephant and Piggie-inspired literacy, math and creative activities for all guests.

Books Alive is sponsored by TD Charitable Foundation.

Free with Museum admission.
