Enjoy live musical performances by local bands and some family-friendly entertainment such as inflatables, carnival games with prizes, and face painting. There will also be a Red Sox Raffle and a 50/50 Raffle. A variety of local craftspeople will sell their products. Refreshments, including pizza, hot dogs, ice cream, coffee and soft drinks will also be on sale.
In addition to the entertainment and festivities, The Jen Di Reeno Foundation will also provide educational materials and sunscreen samples, provided by a variety of organizations including Blue Lizard and The Shade Foundation at a sun protection awareness station. The Melanoma Foundation will also have a booth set up to provide additional education about skin protection and cancer awareness.
Proceeds benefit The Jen Di Reeno Foundation, Inc., a Wakefield-based group created in memory of a young woman who died from skin cancer and dedicated to educating the public and helping teens and young people who have skin cancer.
