Come enjoy a lovely day outside by the Mystic River and help us celebrate renewable energy and environmental sustainability!

There will be food, entertainment, environmental education, canoemobile rides, a free raffle, and more.

Several local businesses will be at the festival, exhibiting their green services and projects, giving demonstrations, holding kids' activities and selling food.

There will also be performances by local musicians.

During the festival the mayor will present Green Awards to this years recipients, Medford residents and businesses who have demonstrated exceptional green practices.

There will be great opportunities to learn more about conserving energy and using renewables.

There will even be insider tours of Windy the Wind Turbine!

Riverbend Park in Medford/Hormel Stadium Facility, outside of the McGlynn School (or in the case of rain, inside the school's cafeteria). Google Maps and GPS will NOT give you accurate directions to this location. To use a GPS, direct it to Hormel Stadium, Medford, MA.

From Hormel Stadium parking lot or school parking lot, walk around the building to the playground, field and wind turbine located between the building and the river.

From East: Revere, Chelsea, Winthrop
Take Route 16 to Meadow Glen Mall. At the mall, bear to the right off of Route 16. You will see the turbine straight ahead of you. Continue straight through the set of lights and follow the road to the right in front of and around Hormel Stadium. You may park in the lot in front of the McGlynn School or in the lot between the McGlynn and Andrews Schools.

From North:
From Route 93 South – take exit #31, Route 16 Everett/Revere. Take a left at the lights at the end of the ramp onto Route 16. Turn left at the first set of lights and an immediate left on the road parrallel to Route 16. Follow the road to the right in front of and around Hormel Stadium. You may park in the lot in front of the McGlynn School or in the lot between the McGlynn and Andrews Schools.

From South:
From Route 95 North, to 93 North and follow directions below.

From Route 93 North:
Exit Somerville/Everett (Assembly Square Mall) first exit after the bridge. At the end of the exit, bear right, passing the mall on your right. Continue into mainstream traffic flow on Route 28N. Keep left. Take a left at 3rd set of lights on Route 16 West. Follow to second light. At the mall, bear to the right. You will see the turbine straight ahead of you. Follow the road to the right in front of and around Hormel Stadium. You may park in the lot in front of the McGlynn School or in the lot between the McGlynn and Andrews Schools.
