Residents will give away toys, clothes, books, DVDs and other media, computer gear, sports equipment, housewares, furniture, and much more.
All homes in Sawyer Hill's side-by-side neighborhoods, Mosaic Commons and Camelot Cohousing, are built along pedestrian-only pathways.
Residents will put out giveaway items along the paths and circles of both neighborhoods, spread out on blankets and tarps or in boxes.
Only items designated 'FREE' are available to take away.
In case of rain, items will be consolidated at the Mosaic Commons Common House, at 22 Village Lane (Berlin, MA).
Give Your Stuff Away Day began in Rochester, NY, and has been adopted in other cities and countries.
This is the ecovillage's seventh year of participation.
