Come Kick off the summer with the Fifth Annual Arlington Alive Summer Arts Block Party!

Artisan booths, family arts area, award-winning storytelling, local food, live music.

Arlington will come alive with the fifth annual Summer Arts Block Party on Saturday, June 24 for a free event that celebrates the arts in the community with live music, storytelling, artisan and craft booths, food vendors, and special activities for children and families.

From 11am to 4:00pm in Arlington Center, visitors will hear an eclectic mix of live musical performances featuring great bluegrass with The BagBoys, pop hits with Aunt Mimi and much more.

Artisan booths will display their creations at the Arts Promenade featuring unique visual artists’ wares including live wheel throwing demos, jewelry, photography, ceramics, crochet, ink painting, etc.
We will have exciting theatre, martial arts and dance demos plus many fun activities at the Festival: Lego making, a dedicated arts and crafts tent, face painting and a cool photo booth to just name a few.

Our Food Pavilion will include some of the finest restaurants in town, including Not Your Average Joe´s, Menotomy Grill and Tavern, and Andrina´s Pizzeria.

The Summer Arts Block Party takes place in Arlington Center, at Broadway Plaza on Saturday, June 24, from 11am to 4:00 pm.

All events are free.

Off street parking is free at the Russell Commons Lot, plus the festival is easily accessible by MBTA buses 77 and 86.
