Reimagine the Roaring Twenties with this 2-day lawn party set on the Crane Estate. Here you’ll find 1920s jazz, antique autos, a vintage fair, flappers and dandies, and picnickers galore.

Explore the formal gardens, watch a costume parade, take a dance lesson, and enjoy a drink at the Bootlegger’s Garden featuring Ipswich Ale Brewery, Mill River Winery, and Far From the Tree Cider.

Pre-order a picnic from Ferreira Foods or visit one of our onsite vendors: Down River Ice Cream and Empanada Dada. Please no BYOB. Parcels will be searched upon entry.

Picnic blankets, chairs, and low tables are welcome. Pop-up tents are permitted only along the hedgerows of the Grand Allee. Please leave furry friends, grills, and candles at home.

Attendees may book a ticket for a 30-minute mansion tour given by a 'Crane family servant' in 1929. See guest rooms, family suites, and the luxurious bathrooms that made Crane fixtures a household name.

Vintage attire is suggested but not required. A string of beads, a hat, or other simple accessory can turn a regular outfit into a 1920s outfit.

Gates open at 1PM. Advance tickets are required. Tickets will not be available on site. Please note that this is a rain-or-shine event. Dance floors and vintage fair will be tented.

The Roaring Twenties Lawn Party is presented by The Trustees of Reservations and Boston Swing Central, a dancer-formed, volunteer-run, non-profit dedicated to promoting swing dance. The vintage fair is organized by The Greater Boston Vintage Society.
