Children enrolled in Boston Public School receive a backpack stuffed with school supplies. Families gain access to over 50 community resources. Parents must bring proof of BPS enrollment. At the Shelburne Community Center

This event was limited to two backpacks per family. I have two biological children and one foster child. I felt that as long as proof was given I should be able to receive a backpack for all. I would have never attended the event if I known this upfront. It was not worth hurting a child's feeling to receive something free. I will not attend this event in the future free or not.
