This “farm-tastic” occasion will highlight the recently completed dairy store and dairy plant as well as the opening of the new visitor center. Community-friendly activities include:
• Tours of the Old House Visitor Center, including the Appleton family museum room and historic collections
• Butter or cheese making demonstrations
• “Strolling” of the dairy herd
• Dairy Barn & Dairy Plant Tours
• Special Dairy Store Hours: 1–4PM, Appleton Farms milk, beef and eggs available!
• Fun activities for kids
• Self-guided farm tour scavenger hunt
Don’t miss this opportunity to learn more about your local farm. So get your overalls on and your favorite boots and drop by during the open house hours, 1–4PM. See you down on the farm!
