Rooms throughout the school are filled with different events and activities. Families can create unique arts and crafts projects, play games from across the globe, win cakes at the Around the World cakewalk, visit the storytelling room, tour through the parent-sponsored international museum, watch the Parade of Nations Fashion Show, and view internationally inspired works of art created by students during Arts & Crafts club.
Families are invited to participate in international dances led by students and Arlington school music teacher, Irina Chelnokova. There will be musical performances by the Arlington Madrigal Singers, Brazilian artist Sulinha and friends, and John Burt and the Georgian singers.
The International Café will open at noon and feature a wide array of scrumptious foods donated by parents and Arlington’s many ethnic restaurants.
Admission is free. Donations are welcome at the door. There are small charges for food and activities.
