Lowell's African Festival features music, dance, entertainment, crafts and traditional African food. Performance troupes from Africa and the US will be on hand.
The African festival is one of the major activities sponsored by the African Cultural Association, Inc. This association is one of the first African organizations of its kind in the United States.The ACA, which grew out of the first African Festival, provides Africans living in the Merrimack Valley and Greater Boston area a means to come together to deal with common issues, opportunities, and concerns.
