The Annual MayFair brings an expected crowd of 100,000 happy people to Harvard Square! MayFair combines the excitement and spontaneity of street theatre all within a six-block circuit of Harvard Square.

6 Blocks of Family Entertainment
Cambridge's annual Mayfair bursts with entertainment, with three stages of live music, children's rides, face painters, balloon twisters, puppeteers, dance troupes, and Harvard Square's famous street performers. Food vendors, plus many of Cambridge's international restaurants, offer plenty of choices of things to eat.

Vendors & Crafters:
A collection of over two hundred vendors of artistic crafts, jewelry and clothing, and other gifts from around the world…as well as from right around the corner!

The festival takes place over four square blocks in the heart of Harvard Square - JFK Street, Brattle Street, Massachusetts Avenue, and Charles Square. With over 100,000 participants, The Cambridge Mayfair Ranks # 10 in Boston Business Journal's Largest Attended Single-Day Events in Massachusetts.

Admission is free to the public.

Schedule of Events:
MayFair features six main performance areas, with smaller niches of art-attacks, dance-distractions, and curious-clowning.

Raindate is Sunday, May 9.

Traffic Detours:
Traffic detours will be in effect for MayFair. Closed between 6am-9pm are: Mass. Ave. southbound from Garden Street.; JFK Street from Mt. Auburn Street.; Brattle Street to Story. Church Street is closed. We suggest taking the RED LINE MBTA to Harvard Station!
