For book-loving families, the 13th annual Family Trees: A Celebration of Children’s Literature at the Concord Museum is sure to bring out the kid in everyone! Concord’s literary legacy is given a creative twist with trees of all shapes and sizes decorated with charm and inspiration from acclaimed classic and contemporary children’s books.

This year, long-time favorites such as Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, Goodnight Moon, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, and The Snowy Day serve as inspiration. Family Trees offers an opportunity to discover some new titles including the delightful United Tweets of America and enjoy classics such as Howard Pyle’s The Story of King Arthur and His Knights and Nancy Drew’s Mystery of the Old Clock.

Visit www.concordmuseum.org for a complete list of this year’s books. Organized by the Guild of Volunteers, this benefit exhibition is open during Museum hours; $15 adults; $10 seniors; $6 children (4-18); Concord Museum Members Free.

Proceeds from “Family Trees” benefit the Concord Museum’s educational mission serving an audience of preschoolers, school-age children, college students, families, adults and seniors in over 600 school and public programs yearly.

eneral admission to the Museum is $10 for adults, $8 Seniors (62 & over), $8 Students with valid id, $5 Youth 6-18; Members and children under 6 are free. Benefit Admission applies from December 5 through January 4: $15 adults; $10 seniors; $6 children (4-18); Children under 4 and Concord Museum Members Free.

We went over there some time ago, very small place with few things for children, rather it's local residents who are more interested in the town's literature history.
