From Academy Award-nominated writer/director John Boorman (Excalibur, Deliverance) comes this long-awaited sequel to his acclaimed autobiographical hit Hope and Glory.
Callum Turner stars as Bill Rohan, a child of the Blitz who comes of age just in time for the Korean War.
Drafted into the British army while still absurdly young, Bill and his new buddies master the art of poking fun at petty tyrants in boot camp, hunger for weekend leave with local beauties, and yearn to discover life’s excitement.
Together with troublemaking buddy Percy (Caleb Landry Jones), he rebels against the everyday drudgery of military life by pranking their tightly-wound Sergeant Major (David Thewlis) and infuriating their stuffy Major (Richard E.
