Please come and join Boston Cares' youth program (BOOYAH!) for a screening of the film 'Vote for Me' about Chinese third graders campaigning to be their class Hall Monitor. Watch democracy in action as they try to get elected.
The screening is open for all youth and youth are invited to stay afterwards for a discussion of the film with their peers. The movie will be shown on Tuesday, September 18th at 7:00pm at the Democracy Center in Harvard Square (easily accessible via the red line). Come and meet new people, watch a cool movie, and discuss what you think democracy is really all about.
