This film uses stunning imagery of these marine mammals in their natural habitats to spread an increasingly important conservation message about the need to protect the earth’s oceans from pollution and destruction. The 3D technology brings the audience into the depths of the ocean alongside these amazing and often mysterious creatures to show scenes from the animals’ lives that can not be seen from the ocean’s surface.
The New England Aquarium was chosen as the site of the movie’s world premiere, largely due to the Aquarium’s own mission and programs to help protect these creatures and their habitats.
