The Forge-In is an unusual and fascinating event where artisans in the metalworking industry demonstrate their skills in a live 'heated' competition throughout the day. Blacksmiths from all ages, walks of life and culture compete with anvils and forges to win cash and prizes in various categories.
The Great Pumpkin Carve is a wonder to behold after dark as all entered pumpkins are lit and displayed along the Nashua River wall for judging. Cash and prizes are awarded in various age categories. You are invited to bring a carved pumpkin with you that day, or pick a pumpkin, pull up a chair and carve away to your heart's delight (pumpkins and tools are available.) Complimenting the season and the Festival will be artists, hand crafters and antique dealers with their finest pieces. Live music, seasonal foods, a chance auction and children's activities complete the day.

Directions from the East: Route 2 to Exit 32, left at the lights.
Directions from the West: Route 2 to Exit 32, bear to the right.
Follow straight through two sets of lights all the way to the bottom of the South Street hill. Take a right, then a left over the bridge at the lights, cross the bridge and turn left at next set of lights onto Main Street. Staying in left lane on Main Street, turn left at next set of lights, then right onto Boulder Drive. Riverfront Park is located behind Fitchburg Tire, parking is in the garage on your left. Free parking day of event.
