The Annual Fitchburg Forge-In Blacksmith Festival is the premier fall festival in central New England featuring the Forge-In blacksmith competition and The Great Pumpkin Carve.

The Forge-In is an unusual and fascinating event where artisans in the metalworking industry demonstrate their skills in a live 'heated' competition throughout the day. Blacksmiths from all ages, walks of life and culture compete with anvils and forges to win cash and prizes in various categories.

Check out demonstration by skilled mastersmith. Watch blacksmiths compete for cash prizes & create useful objects by heating and forging pieces of steel. Children can enjoy Pumpkin decorating too.
