Two nights a week, Chef Klein is opening up her restaurant to the family set, for “Fine Dining, Family-Style” – the perfect excuse for parents of young children to get out of the house…without having to bribe their overworked babysitters or take out a second mortgage! Aura will turn its dining room into an impromptu “Romper Room,” complete with toys, kid-friendly food and, most importantly, a context in which it’s ok for kids to act like kids – no more nasty glances from the couple across the way, or mortified looks from snooty servers. What’s more, parents can actually feel like grown-ups again as they enjoy a sophisticated meal prepared by an award-winning chef – something that can’t necessarily be said for last weekend’s Olive Garden outing.
