The Cogivan Family of West Roxbury has organized their 1st annual 5k to support the non-profit they started when their 6 year old son Brendan was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder.

Families & Friends of Children with Genetic Disorders serves as a means of bringing awareness to the community about genetic disorders. Research is necessary in order for doctors to be able to answer the many questions that families affected by genetic disorders have.

There are so many different variations of genetic disorders and most of the children affected by them have uncertain futures. Please support us on Sunday Oct 4th by sponsoring a runner, sending a donation or purchasing raffle tickets in support of this worthy cause.

See our website for the impressive list of raffle prizes, including Bruins tickets and a 50/50 Cash prize! Winners do not need to be present for drawing. Winners will be notified and also posted on fogrun.org Sunday evening. Hope to see you there!!
