Visitors will be awed by the five glass viewing stations where guests can stand face-to-face with these incredible animals and a zookeeper interaction area to view training and feeding sessions. The space also features naturalistic exhibit details to encourage foraging behavior and provide environmental stimulation. For the gorillas, the design space provides more vertical space in which to climb and play and, most importantly, the exhibit allows the Zoo’s entire gorilla group to spend not only their nights, but also their days, together.
Seeing the gorillas in this habitat is an experience not to be missed!
In addition to the gorillas, the signature 3-acre Tropical Forest is home to many of the Zoo’s most fascinating animals, including ring-tailed lemurs, mandrills, ocelots, a pygmy hippo and dwarf crocodiles. If planning your visit specifically to see the renovated gorilla exhibit, it is easiest to enter the Zoo through the Giraffe entrance.
Be sure to also visit Bird's World located across from the Tropical Forest. This stunning building features indigenous birds from regions including the swamp, scrublands and wetlands.
