This workshop will educate renters and home owners and landlords about how to make their home more energy efficient, and as a result, create a more comfortable, healthy, and affordable home.
It will also educate residents about the discounts available to any home statewide for insulation, high-efficiency furnaces, water heaters, heat pumps, and solar panels.
This workshop will educate you about how all residences (1-4 units) are eligible for a no-cost home energy assessments.
A completed assessment details what a home is eligible for from the MassSave program: some homes are eligible for a 75% discount on insulation, significant discounts on furnaces and water heaters, solar panels, heat pumps, and 0% (zero) loans that can be used to purchase these items.
Residents that sign up at this event and complete a home energy assessment will trigger an automatic donation from Next Step Living to the Fields Corner Thrive in Five program - a program supporting families with children ages 0-5.
