A self-guided scavenger hunt for families among the museums vast collections of animals, Including the new Arthropod exhibit.

It’s winter now in New England, and it’s getting cold outside! What do you do to prepare for winter? From December 23-31, you can explore what animals do to survive the cold using the Harvard Museum of Natural History's new 'Exhibit Exploration' available to visitors at the museum's admissions desk.

Just like us, animals have different tricks, called 'adaptations' that they use to survive the cold. Exhibits to explore include animals, such as rabbit, Polar Bear, Caribou, and fossil mammals such as the giant Mastodon.
