Join Acelleron Maternal Health and Wellness for a Beyond Kegels workshop to support and reclaim your postpartum body!

After giving birth to your baby, nothing is like it was before and your body needs more than just Kegels to get back on track.

Your daily routine will change, along with your body, as a result of pregnancy and childbirth.

Your pelvic floor muscles, abdominal muscles and ligaments are stretched.

Therefore, it takes time until your pelvic muscles and organs will reach their former position.

You might have had an episiotomy or your perineum ruptured during delivery so that you needed a suture.

Or you might have had a c-section, which is called a major abdominal procedure.

All of this means your body needs rest but also support to heal.Next to the anatomical background I will teach you relaxation through breathing exercises, along with cognition exercises for your pelvic floor muscles.

Starting as early as a few days after childbirth, engaging in these exercises twice a day for only a few minutes will help significantly to heal your body.

You will also learn when you can start with the first easy exercises to support the reforming process of your pelvic floor muscles.

The duration of this workshop is 90 minutes.

Please wear comfortable clothes.
