PERFORMANCE
Gerwick Puppets presents Midwinter Magic
11 am and 1 pm, Morse Auditorium
For adults and children ages 5 and up
Reservations strongly suggested. Reserved, unclaimed seats will be released five minutes prior to showtime.
Gerwick Puppets presents Midwinter Magic, inspired by Claude Debussy’s work for piano, Snowflakes Are Dancing. Len Gerwick and Deborah Cosine delight audiences with this story of two children awaiting the first snow, featuring over 30 puppets.
DEMONSTRATION AND ACTIVITY
Gingerbread Houses and Cookies
11 am-3 pm, Atrium
Chefs from the award-winning North Shore Community College Culinary Arts program in Danvers demonstrate the art of gingerbread house construction and decoration. Decorate your own gingerbread cookies for a yummy snack! Don’t miss the chefs’ gingerbread house interpretation of the museum’s Gardner-Pingree House.
DROP-IN ART ACTIVITY
Crystal Watercolor Snowflake
1-3 pm, Art Studios
For all ages
Create a design as unique as a real snowflake. Paint with watercolors; then sprinkle on some salt and see what happens!
FAMILY WORKSHOPS
Make Your Own Snow Globe
12:30 and 2:30 pm, Art Studios
