This fall, Havurah on the Hill (HOH), in collaboration with the Synagogue Council of Massachusetts, will once again host High Holidays services at the historic Vilna Shul on Beacon Hill in Boston.

Services will be led by Rebecca Blumenfeld and Deborah Melkin.

Last year we had a wonderful turnout from all over our community, and we look forward to welcoming back those who attended last year as well as those of you who have never been to the Vilna Shul!

HOH’s services are non-denominational, egalitarian, and open to all.

Services are conducted in Hebrew with English readings mixed in.

As part of our learning services mission, we provide explanations and teachings throughout.

Services are community-led, with a variety of familiar melodies and tunes.
Tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis, and only 300 tickets will be issued per holiday.

Please note this is a pre-paid event, and in order to be on the RSVP list, payment for this event is required by Tuesday, September 23rd.
We do not mail out tickets; instead your name will be on the pre-paid ticket list at the door.

The suggested donations for High Holidays tickets are as follows:
For either Rosh Hashanah or Yom Kippur General: $72
Student: $54
For both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur General: $118
Students: $96

Havurah on the Hill's services are made possible through the help of its community volunteers, and this fall we're looking for Torah readers, Haftarah readers, and Shofar Blowers.

English reading parts are also available.

Please let us know how you can help on our event registration page (above), and contact Aron Neesman ([email protected]) for more information.
Please note: If you cannot afford the suggested amount per ticket, please donate what you can.

To do this, click on the green button above and fill out the form as you would for any other ticket and use step 4 'Ticket Donations in Other Amounts.' In the spirit of chesed, the Jewish tradition of acts of kindness, we encourage those who have the means to make an additional donation in support of others in the HOH community who cannot afford it.

Please check that you are purchasing the correct amount of tickets/donation before processing your transaction.

Refunds take several days to process.

We are also once again participating in the CJP Ticket Match program.

Please contact Jessica Antoline at the Vilna Shul ([email protected]) for more information regarding this initiative.
If you would like to pay by check, please make it payable to Vilna Shul High Holidays.

Please enclose the names of all attendees and indicate RH2014 for Rosh Hashanah
YK2014 for Yom Kippur
HH2014 for both holidays
