Halloween Family Day

Come in costume and have fund with stamps - do arts and crafts, decorate pumpkins with stamps, stamp hunts and games for prizes, make envelopes and send letters to friends - free postage.
Activities will include decorating Trick-or-Treat bags and pumpkins with stamps, a Halloween Stamp Designing Contest, Halloween Stamp Hunts and stamp related games and puzzles for prizes and arts and crafts activities using stamps and making stamp mosaics of pumpkins.
Children can make Halloween envelopes to send Halloween greetings to friends with the Museum providing the free postage.
In celebration of National Stamp Collecting Month, visitors can vote for their favorite display from among the exhibits prepared by Museum members.
Prizes will be given to children who wear their Halloween costumes.
Why not come as a mail carrier?
All children can also have their picture made into a stamp and will receive a free packet of stamps.
Tips about how to start a stamp collection will be offered.
Free refreshments.
Also on display are all the Simpsons from TV on stamps plus an educational exhibit on the history of the Alvin research sub.
