At 11:00 a.m., watch as the Chiu Mo Kwoon school performs a Hung Gar Kung Fu and Lion Dance in front of the Tropical Forest.
The lion dance is a part of traditional Chinese folklore and culture, and is said to ward away evil spirits and summon luck and fortune.
The inside of the Tropical Forest will be festively decorated for the occasion, and with 2016 being the year of the monkey, special zookeeper encounters will take place at the cotton-top tamarin exhibit at 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
