This Memorial Day Weekend the Rebecca Nurse Homestead will host members of many Great War reenacting groups to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of US involvement in the Great War.
Jump back to 1917 and meet soldiers from World War 1.
There will be lots of reenactors to meet, and demonstrations to watch including trench raid practice, and bayonet exercise.
Many of the reenactors will have tables to display various tools, weapons and equipment used during the time.
Event hours will be 10AM-3PM daily Saturday May 27 and Sunday May 28.
Admission is Adults $7, Seniors $5, Children 6-16 $4, under 6 and members of the Rebecca Nurse Homestead Preservation Society FREE.
The Rebecca Nurse Homestead is a 17th century historic house museum set on 27 beautiful acres in the heart of Danvers MA.
It is owned and operated by the Danvers Alarm List Company a premier 18th century reenactment group and is a 501c3 non-profit company.
