Logan Square, the central block of Fairmount Avenue, will be closed from 3 p.m. – 9 p.m. providing a space for visual artists to display and sell artwork against the landscape of local restaurants and businesses who will remain open giving attendees an opportunity to also taste the local culture of Hyde Park.
Irish step dancers, a Spanish solo artist and a singing duo of Haitian brothers are a few of the many acts planned to perform at this year’s festival. Visitors may stroll through the square and enjoy the action on the stage from many tables arranged café-style throughout the festival setting. “ArtScene” is free, handicapped accessible and open to the public.
