Things to know before you arrive:
You will need a sturdy pair of ice skates that provide good ankle support. Participants can bring their own or rent skates on site for $4. Please be advised, however that rental skates are available in limited sizes and quantities. Skaters are encouraged to bring his or her own skates for this activity.

As Winter Skate is an outdoor rink, don’t forget to bundle up! We recommend that skaters dress in layers of comfortable clothing that allow easy movement. Water-proof items are always a good choice because as with any rink, skaters who fall could get wet.

A helmet is required for anyone under the age of 6 and may be appropriate for beginners at any age. Helmets are not available at Winter Skate and should be brought individually.
