January 30, 2012 - We are very disappointed to announce that the races have been cancelled due to the lack of snow.The New England Sled Dog Races at Appleton Farm take advantage of the farms's many acres of beautiful open space and trails.
Races start at 9am
The starting order will be:
6-Dog professional
6-dog sportsman
8-dog
Unlimited
Skijoring
3-dog junior
4-dog professional
4-dog sportsman
The Races are the joint effort of landowners, community leaders, the Trustees of Reservations, the Essex County Greenbelt and the Essex County Trail Association. Proceeds from this event go to these organizations to preserve open space for public use and enjoyment
