Kendall Square Community Ice Skating is a seasonal outdoor ice skating rink located in the heart of East Cambridge just minutes from downtown Boston. Check Skate Blog for official opening dates.The rink offers skate rentals, lessons, private rink rentals, and a cafe serving hot drinks and snacks. Our rink is refrigerated, zamboni-maintained and located in a landscaped courtyard.
Skating School
Kendall Square Community Ice Skating offers a program for those who want to learn or improve their skating while having fun. Our instructors teach based on the Ice Skating Institute weSKATE Lesson Program and are handpicked for their ability to work with the lesson's age group. If you or your child has never skated before, or if you'd just like to feel more comfortable on the ice, the Kendall Square Community Ice Skating School is the one for you!
Learn to Skate
Our Learn to Skate program is designed for those who have never skated or who have never had formal lessons. We begin with how to get up and fall down on skates, then progress to the fundamentals of skating, stressing balance, glide, and proper form on the ice.
