Come to Meet Beach Creatures at Mass Audubon's Joppa Flats Education Center!

Become scientists and handle live beach creatures, use microscopes and learn about the world around us.

Try out a science station or play an outdoor game in our beautiful backyard.

There are daily family presentations at 10 & 11:30AM that are fun for the whole family!

Take home a craft and discover why our environment is such a special place to be!

From Rt. I-95: Take exit 57 (Rt. 113, W Newbury/Newburyport). At the end of the exit ramp take Rt. 113 east. Follow Rt.113 and Rt. 1A for 3.8 miles through Newburyport to Rolfe's Lane in Newbury. At the traffic light at Rolfe’s Lane, take a left (heading north). Drive 0.6 miles to the end of Rolfe’s Lane and take a right. The sanctuary is 0.1 miles ahead on the left.
