First of several events to commemorate the 300th Birthday of Commodore Joshua Loring, who built the Loring Greenough House in 1760. Learn about the plight of Loyalists at the time of the American Revolution.

• Saturday, June 25, from noon to 4 pm “What’s Brewing” will occur.

Portrayed by Living Historians, Joshua and Mary Loring and their family, neighbors, friends, and children will mingle with visitors on the lawns.

Listen in on a tea party, talk business with merchants and relations, try on authentic 18th-century clothing, and play games.

Free admission.
