Join Dr. Scott Kraus as he discusses what whales see, and how that information may help design and implement fishing equipment less likely to cause entanglement. Learn more and register online!

To reduce or eliminate the problem of right whale entanglements in fishing gear, scientists and gear developers have considered the feasibility of enhancing ropes and nets to improve their detection by whales.

Dr. Kraus will talk about whale vision and address the feasibility of making fishing gear more visible.
