In the heartland see a small start towards the restoration of the prairie, but also major changes as wind farms and oil rigs dotted the sweeping vistas of wheat, soy and corn.
Some natural changes included the rebirth of Yellowstone forests, years after the great fire while the colorful hot springs and towering geysers remain iconic.
Heading north there is an incredible variety of wildlife from tiny creatures, birds and plants to the massive herds of bison and stately elk, but also towering mountains with rapidly receding of glaciers and roaring waterfalls.
Join us for a scenic tour of the wildlife and the changing nature of the wild west.
Location-themed buffet dinner and lecture or lecture only.
Pre-registration required for dinner by 6pm Tuesday, February 9.
